Stealing
Details
- The solid word is clip-path inset from the left to the split; the outline shows through where it is clipped.
- Only the clip moves: nothing is resized, nothing reflows, and it is hardware-accelerated.
- A mouse just hovers; touch drags without scrolling the page; the handle is a slider moving 5% per arrow key.
- Size it with font-size alone; the two copies share one grid cell, so they always line up.
